New Life Bible Academy

Reverend Richard and Pastor Mary ColemanNew Life Bible Academy is a developing collaborative for enhancing ministerial effectiveness. In its present form, it leverages the individual missions of key stakeholders in helping pastors and lay leaders to serve in their respective roles. In 2005, Church of New Life Christian Ministries (CONL), under the direction of Senior Pastors Sam and Shirley Nero, launched the first year of a multi-year school for its pastors and other leaders. Concurrently, Luther Seminary had begun to engage urban churches and ministries including Shiloh Temple, New Beginnings Baptist Tabernacle, Kingdom Oil, New Salem Baptist Church, CONL, Stairstep Foundation, Holding Forth The Word of Life Ministries, and others to gain their support in helping Luther to improve its standing in urban communities. Over time, several ministry leaders and Luther agreed that collaborating with CONL's school would be a practical strategy to achieve meaningful outcomes for all concerned.

2007 New Life Bible Academy Graduates

On September 19, 2006, New Life Bible Academy held its first classes as a community partnership. First and second year students began thirty weeks of classes taught by a team of instructors from Luther, local church pastors, non-profit leaders and recent seminary graduates. New Life Bible Academy provides a dynamic learning environment for faculty, and the participating organizations as well as the students. Professors, visiting instructors and our stakeholders have opportunities to examine their beliefs, perspectives and practices as they contribute their assets to the mission of enhancing ministerial effectiveness. We are praying that this Kingdom venture will yield significant returns.

Classes are held at 7101 Nicollet Avenue, Richfield, MN 55423
