Of all that any person desires, nothing more fulfilling than one's relationship with Christ. In Him, life becomes new...all things become new. Shirley and I are grateful that the Lord placed this deep reality in our hearts. God's Word declares it and our experiences testify to the Lord's faithfulness in giving newness to all who seek His will. During the late 1980's, we sensed the Lord telling us to organize a Bible study. We obeyed and He gave it life. As we continued to press into His will, we discovered His desire to do a further new thing with the group. He led us to become a local church and on February 6, 1989, we formally established Church of New Life Christian Ministries under the laws of the State of Minnesota.

Over the past eighteen years, the Lord has done marvelous things in the lives of many of us here. People without hope, wilted by the heat of troubles, found new life and became leaders. Now they are ministry gifts to this congregation and those we serve in the community. We rejoice in seeing their own personal transformation and how the Lord is using them to help others find new life. We dare to be different for Jesus and we teach others to resist conformity to sin and death and to be changed by the Living Word.

After spending thirteen years at 3536 Nicollet Ave. South in Minneapolis, we recently expanded into our current home in Richfield. We desire to be good neighbors in every way by strategically connecting to other Kingdom minded churches, schools, service agencies, institutions and community-minded businesses. We believe our integrity as a Christian church will be judged by how well we live as a neighbor in South Minneapolis, Richfield, Bloomington and every other community in which we serve. We were created to relate in love to God and one another.
